Yorktown’s two-day Christmas Market on Main returns this weekend with nearly 100 vendors. The market will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday.
Vendors, artists, food trucks, strolling musicians, and antique cars will line the street on both days. They’ll have chestnuts roasting on an open fire, free kids’ activities, live music, and a visit from Santa Claus.
Vendors will be selling everything from wreaths and candles to Christmas ornaments and leather goods. On Saturday, the Town Crier “rings in” the market, followed with a performance by The Fifes and Drums of York Town. Then, Santa Claus joins the festivities by posing for pictures and listening to holiday wish lists. Expect strolling musical entertainment to add to the festive atmosphere and an ice carving demonstration in front of York Hall on Sunday.
