York district rep sought for utilities committee

The Gloucester County Board of Supervisors is seeking a resident from the York magisterial district to serve on the Public Utilities Advisory Committee.

The committee serves as the advisory group to the Gloucester Board of Supervisors and the public utilities department to suggest policies and address concerns related to all aspects of public water and sewer services within the county.

The committee meets every other month, usually on the second Thursday at 7 p.m. in the conference room of county office building one.

York district residents interested in serving are asked to submit a volunteer board bank interest form, which may be obtained by calling the community education department at 693-5730 or by submitting an online form at www.gloucesterva.info. (Under "Quick Links" select "E-Services" and then "Boards/Committees On-Line.")

For more information, contact Gloucester Community Education director Christi Lewis at 693-5730.
