YMCA presentation

With monthly invitations to community speakers to present at its Sunday services, two guests representing the YMCA spoke this past Sunday at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of the Rappahannock in White Stone. Buzz Lambert, left, and Ana Mae Morrow relayed community impacts that YMCA of the Virginia Peninsulas programs provide for YMCA users and guests throughout the year. Lambert discussed after-school, water-safety and swimming programs for children in the Mathews, Middlesex and Northern Neck YMCA facilities. Morrow told how local children and teens enjoy weeklong, overnight experiences at the Y’s Camp Kekoka in Kilmarnock in the summer.
