The Gloucester-Mathews Humane Society kicked off its month of “Yappy Hour” Thursday afternoon socials in the gardens at Brent and Becky’s Bulbs. From 4-6 p.m. each Thursday in May, dogs and their owners, and people who just like dogs, are invited to stop by for some tail-wagging fun. The GMHS will also have some of its adoptable canines joining the party. Adult beverages are available for purchase, as well as snacks from Gumbeau’s. All animals must be on a leash.
