Author Mai Neng Moua, Artist in Residence at Arts on Main, will offer a workshop on “Writing with Photos” at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the gallery on Main Street in Gloucester. It is free and open to the public.

Moua will lead participants in using photos as prompts to write stories. They will first use their five senses to describe these “moments captured in time,” and will then write more deeply about the back stories of the photos. There will also be opportunities for those who wish to share their writing with another person or the group.
