Writers’ group to hold Creative Nonfiction Luncheon April 3

Chesapeake Bay Writers will have a Creative Nonfiction Luncheon from 11:30 to 1:30 on Wednesday, April 3, at Rocco’s Smokehouse Grill, 207 Bypass Road, Williamsburg.

Journalist, author and editor Paul Aron will discuss the art of creative nonfiction and provide insights into effective storytelling techniques.

Aron’s literary works delve into controversial historical events, blending “the intrigue of fiction with the rigor of nonfiction,” said a press release. He will draw from his experience as a former editor at Doubleday, executive editor at Simon & Schuster, and director of publications at Colonial Williamsburg to share tips and editorial advice to help writers craft compelling nonfiction narratives.

From such works as “Unsolved Mysteries of American History” to “American Stories,” Aron’s expertise “promises to inspire and inform writers of all levels,” said the release.
