Wreath workshop

Virginia Cooperative Extension in Mathews and the Mathews-Middlesex Master Gardeners held their eighth annual Holiday Wreath Workshop on Dec. 1 at the Extension office in Mathews. With a little instruction, 13 participants from Mathews, Middlesex, Gloucester and Yorktown each created a wreath using a wire coat hanger, florist wire, greenery and ribbon. All the greenery was donated.
