Wreath laying

Beth Richardson, Gary Booker of the Lumbee Tribe and Kenneth Richardson, from left, participated in Sunday’s 27th annual Pocahontas Wreath Laying Ceremony at the Pocahontas statue beside the Church of St. Therese on Gloucester Main Street. During the ceremony, Beth read Black Elk’s Earth Prayer.
