Workshops to help nonprofits in navigating grant process

The Gloucester Community Foundation, Mathews Community Foundation, and River Counties Community Foundation, all affiliates of The Community Foundation Serving Richmond and Central Virginia, will host a pair of workshops on the upcoming community grants process.

The workshops, designed for representatives of local nonprofits and other agencies, will be held at Rappahannock Community College’s Glenns campus.

Susan Hallett, vice president of programs, and Leslie Franklin, regional grants management associate for TCF, will present “Preparing Your Grant Proposal” from 9-11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 30. This workshop is targeted at organizations across Lancaster, Northumberland, Middlesex, Mathews and Gloucester counties who plan to apply for a community grant.
