Woodard will not seek reelection to county board

Ware District Supervisor Gregory Woodard said Thursday that he will not seek another term on the Gloucester County Board of Supervisors.

He confirmed this decision after releasing the following statement through a county-issued press release Wednesday afternoon:

“In the beginning (2007), my wife and I agreed that I would serve one term unless God said otherwise.  It has been a privilege and honor to serve the citizens of Gloucester as the Ware District representative to the Board of Supervisors.  Public service isn't about the name of a political party, but all about serving the people.
