Wonder at Ware to present ‘Love is in the Air’ concert Feb. 13

Ware Episcopal Church, Gloucester, will present its third Wonder at Ware virtual concert, ‘Love is in the Air,” at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 13. The concert is free to access and made available to the Gloucester-Mathews community via the program’s website at www.wonderatware.org.

“Love is in the Air” will highlight duet pieces of the Romantic Era for flute and organ. Pieces by Faure, Greig, Tchaikovsky, Brahms and others will be featured.

Throughout the concert, Laura Rowe will play three different flutes, which include concert, alto and piccolo, while Patti Taylor, Ware’s Director of Music Ministries, will play the church’s thirteen register Casavant Freres organ.

“The program looks to be extraordinary,” said the Rev. Scott Parnell, rector of Ware Church. “The overwhelming feedback we received for our virtual fall concerts was incredibly encouraging, so we are pleased to continue this virtual program.”

The concert is approximately 30 minutes and can be accessed any time...
