Wonder at Ware to host jazz concert this weekend

Ware Episcopal Church will host its next Wonder at Ware concert on Saturday evening, featuring the Michael McNeill Jazz Quartet. McNeill, keyboardist, is shown here playing the piano.
Ware Episcopal Church will host its next Wonder at Ware concert this Saturday at 7 p.m. in the Historic Ware Church featuring the Michael McNeill Jazz Quartet.
McNeill, keyboardist of the group, is an adjunct professor at Christopher Newport University, organist at Grace Episcopal Church in Kilmarnock and chapel organist at Christchurch School. He will be joined by trumpeter Kelly Rossum, bassist Chris Brydge and drummer Scott Clark.
“We are thrilled to welcome Michael and the rest of the quartet to Ware,” said the Rev. Scott Parnell, rector of Ware Church. “It is a joy for us to continue emphasizing the world-class talent found right here in the tidewater of Virginia.”
This concert is free and open to the public. There will be a reception, following the performance....
