Wonder at Ware begins concert season Saturday

Ware Episcopal Church, Gloucester, will kick off its 2021-2022 Wonder at Ware concert series season this Saturday, beginning at 7 p.m., at the Historic Ware Church with musical guest “Poisoned Dwarf.”

Poisoned Dwarf is a musical ensemble based in Williamsburg. It will play renditions of traditional Irish and Scottish music on acoustic instruments.

“The pandemic gave us an excuse to pause and refocus our series’ efforts,” said the Rev. Scott Parnell, rector of Ware Church. “We came to realize that we can provide a broader range of musical guests to celebrate different musical genres. We will continue to remain true to our baroque roots and intentionally invite other styles of music to enjoy this wonderful setting.”

Patti Taylor, Wonder at Ware artistic director, has announced the lineup for the remainder of the season.
