Women’s Ministry of LightHouse Church, Hayes, in partnership with various nonprofits, will hold a special community-wide event focused on providing healing and support to women who have experienced the loss of a child during pregnancy, infancy, or through abortion.

“Heal Her Heart” will take place from 1-5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 7, at LightHouse Church. This free event also provides complimentary childcare for attendees.

“Women who have experienced the profound loss of a child during pregnancy, infancy, or abortion are invited to gather to find solace and experience the comforting touch of healing from Our Heavenly Father,” a release said. The occasion will provide a space for women to share their experiences, receive support from others who understand, and draw strength from a community of caring souls, the release said.

“It is a reminder that they are not alone in their journey and that healing and hope are attainable,” the church said.

The group of co-sponsoring non-profit organizations, comprising SaveOne, Weighted Angels, Isaiah Henry’s Legacy, Care Net, Women of Influence, along with the Women’s Ministry of LightHouse Church, share a common commitment of ministering to and providing resources for women. These organizations will extend their support, guidance, and share additional avenues for healing and growth beyond the event, the release said.
