Last week’s Women in Business pages featured some of the women who keep things rolling along here in Gloucester and Mathews counties—the ones who keep the stores open, who help us find the perfect home, who run the restaurants, who style our hair, who provide us with legal representation, and the countless other services that we depend upon every day.
Originally planned as a one-time tribute during the celebration of March as Women’s History Month, the feature proved so popular that we’ve extended it another week. The contributions of women are so important and widespread, they can’t be confined to a single month.
