Wendy Byrns, Senior Product Manager at Canon Virginia, was the guest speaker at Monday’s meeting of the Mathews County Woman’s Club.

The Newport News Canon headquarters is the largest service facility in the United States. It refurbishes cameras and sells them for a reduced rate and also send photographers to many international events like the Olympic Games in Brazil, China and Russia.

Byrns brought along several Canon Rebel T7 cameras for members to look at and offered a number of quick tips on how to take brilliant photographs. Shooting portraits, landscapes, moving subjects, food, and night portraits were some of the topics she covered.
