The West Mathews Community League will hold its seventh annual Fall Festival from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday at the league building in Bohannon.
Organizers ask that those attending use face masks, and said the festival will be held mostly on the grounds of the civic center, which is the historic former Peninsula School located on East River Road.
The festival will include sales of clam chowder at $8 a quart, hamburgers, hot dogs, soft drinks and iced tea.Live music with local talent is planned, along with a 50.50 raffle, fall plants from Mobjack Nurseries, yard sale and bake sale. Some of the sale items include chains saws, kayaks, a sailing dinghy and several boats from the Mathews Maritime Foundation.
