The West Mathews Community League will hold its ninth annual Fall Festival from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday at the league building at 4905 East River Road, Bohannon.

The festival spot is located on the building and grounds of the former Peninsula School, which opened in 1913, and is now league property.

The day will include an hour of vocals from singer Heather MacKenzie of Mathews, starting at noon.

A plant sale, clam chowder sale, bake sale, yard sale, barbecue lunch sale, and demonstration of antique farm implements, a corn sheller and apple press, are planned.

Donations for the yard sale are being taken from 10-2 on Friday.
