W&M alumni chapter recognizes outstanding teachers  

The Botetourt chapter of the William and Mary Alumni Association has presented its outstanding teacher awards for 2014 to Melissa Baldwin-Larsen of Gloucester and Charles Seidl of Mathews.

The awards were presented during the chapter’s annual meeting on March 22 at Goodfellas Restaurant, White Marsh. Both recipients are high school teachers, and the awards were made jointly by chapter president Eric Rosenberg, GHS principal Dr. Tony Beverage and MHS principal Albert Green.

This annual event featured a speech by Dr. Kate Conley, Dean of Arts and Sciences at William and Mary. It was also noted at the meeting that William and Mary sophomores Shannon Butler of Susan, majoring in marketing, and Lucas Walker of Gloucester, majoring in chemistry and math, were given the chapter student scholarships. ...
