‘Wizard of Oz’ to be presented this weekend

The Court House Players will present “The Wizard of Oz,” Friday through Sunday at LightHouse on Route 17 in Ordinary.

The musical features 70 youth from Gloucester, Mathews and Middlesex countie singing the classic songs from the timesless film as Dorothy, the Scarecrow, the Tin Man, the Cowardly Lion, and Toto find their way through the wonderful world of Oz.

The production is under the direction of Christine Britton and produced by Pamela Thompson. Music director is Heather King. Suzanne Smith is costume designer.

Show times are 7 p.m. on Friday, 3 and 7 p.m. on Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $5 for children/students and $10 for adults.
