Dr. Gloria Savage-Early was the guest speaker at the Winter Luncheon meeting of the Gloucester Retired Educators Association on Dec. 4, held at the DAV. She opened with singing a medley of Christmas songs, then gave a brief synopsis of her extensive work experience, which includes military service, education, and ministry. She shared entertaining short exchanges between children and adults regarding trust and compassion, and reminded members that Christmas is a time of giving and that all should tell others of Jesus. In closing, she sang excerpts from additional Christmas songs and gave a complimentary copy of one of the Christmas-themed books she has authored to a member with a birthday in December....
