Jessie Mills, a December graduate of the University of Mary Washington, Fredericksburg, took part in last month’s Winter Big Show put on by the university’s Performing Arts Company. Ballet, jazz, modern, tap and hip hop are incorporated in the show. Mills attended Diggs School of Dance in Gloucester, later joining Bayside Youth Ballet. She is the daughter of Laura Lane and Danny Mills, and granddaughter of Gene and Annie Goin, all of Susan.
