Born to the late William E. and Queenie B. Ward

He was preceded in death by his son, Winsor Ward Jr., one brother, William S. Ward; five sisters, Nannie B. Foster, Sylvia Kennedy, Nettie Carter, Virginia Smith and Mary Hearn; and one grandson, Jermaine Paige.

He is survived by his wife, Deloris Paige Ward of Mathews; two daughters, Valerie Paige Walker (William) of Gloucester, Tammie L. Wright (Ernest) of Mathews; one son, Cory L. Ward (Missy) of Plainview, and one daughter-in-law, Karen Ward of Gloucester. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; eight great- grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 6, at 1 p.m. at Zion Baptist Church, Cardinal, with a viewing at Knight Funeral Home, Mathews, on Friday, April 5, from 6-8 p.m.
