Winners named at Gloucester STEM Fair

Gloucester County Public Schools has announced the winners in its annual STEM Fair, which was held on Saturday at Gloucester High School. A total of 314 students in grades four through 11 participated in the event. 

GHS students competed in the senior division while middle and elementary school children competed in the junior division. Winners were as follows: 

Animal Science—senior, 1. Ashley Pierro 2. Alexander Dayton; 

Behavioral and Social Science—senior, 1. Sophia Ferguson 2. Brianna Abdul; junior, 1. Christopher Ray of Peasley 2. Savannah Rose, Taylor West and Maggie Pruim of Peasley, Honorable Mention, Gracie Sigley of Abingdon; 

Biochemistry—senior, 1. Alexis Bekcher 2. Mason Slayer 3. Alana Lyons, HM Frances Knight; junior, 1. Alex Barbee of Abingdon;
