Current Petsworth District supervisor Michael Winebarger is seeking re-election to a third term on the Gloucester County Board of Supervisors this fall.
“I have been a resident and business owner in Gloucester for more than 40 years and served on the Gloucester County Planning Commission for 13 years prior to serving on the Board of Supervisors,” said Winebarger. “In addition to my responsibilities as the Petsworth District Supervisor, I have served on the Social Services Board for three years, and the Economic Development Authority for over two years.”
Aside from his work with the county, Winebarger said he’s also a homebuilder who has constructed and renovated many homes in the county. He also said he co-founded and worked with the Gloucester Youth Wrestling Program for many years.
Winebarger said he has stuck to his commitment to ensure the Board of Supervisors would spend the money of Gloucester residents wisely and work toward fair property assessments.
“The last eight years have been very rewarding to me because I delivered on the commitments I made to the citizens who elected me,” said Winebarger. “In addition to keeping taxes low and improving property assessments, I have voted three times to protect your Second Amendment rights. I have committed to an innovative approach to our Gloucester County budget and I ask you to give me the opportunity to see it through.”
“I humbly ask for your support to continue serving the good people of Petsworth District and Gloucester County,” Winebarger said.
Winebarger is opposed by Ken Gibson for the Petsworth District seat in the November general election.
