Letter: Winebarger for supervisor

Editor, Gazette-Journal:

Mike Winebarger is running for re-election for Petsworth District supervisor and is being challenged. I will simply say that I am voting for Mike Winebarger. You may ask “Why?” Well, Mike is a plain-spoken, tell-it-like-it-is, regular down-to-earth person who is motivated to fix things in this county.

He is a gentleman who speaks the truth and, by that virtue, may have “ruffled some feathers” in the last eight years in order to help “we the people.” He considers the issues with amazing insight and common sense and always with what’s best for the people.

He has a heart which feels for the less fortunate in our community. His eight years of dedication to simplifying regulations and keeping taxes low have kept us, the taxpayers, from being taxed out of our houses and homes. Low taxes is his legacy.
