Chef Winslow “Win” Goodier, CEC, AAC, a Certified Executive Chef since 1994 through the American Culinary Federation, can now add the letters WCEC after his name.
Goodier, executive chef/culinary director of Nuttall’s Store in Ware Neck, recently earned certification for World Certified Executive Chef through the World Association of Chefs Societies.
Worldchefs is a non-political professional organization, dedicated to maintaining and improving the culinary standards of global cuisines. It accomplishes these goals through education, training, and professional development of its membership. Worldchefs represents the global voice of culinary professionals, and their membership represents over one hundred national Chefs associations and millions of Chefs worldwide.
The recipient of the Worldchefs badge is a professional chef with extensive knowledge and experience in managing food operations. This individual has a proven history of managing multiple food outlets within a culinary establishment which includes managing and developing people, budgeting, and forecasting and contributing to the implementation of the establishment’s strategic plan. They are employed as an executive chef, corporate executive chef (or equivalent) or run their own business.
Recently elected to the office of President of the ACF Virginia Chef’s Association, Goodier said, “After almost 40 years in the culinary field, this certification was purely in recognition of my professional and personal fulfillment.”
