Willine Ledbetter Montgomery, 98, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 22, 2015, in Walter Reed Convalescent Center, Gloucester.

She was born in Georgia to the late George W. and Zepho Whorton Ledbetter.

She retired from Morgan’s Drugstore after 14 years of service and was an active member of Bellamy United Methodist Church and was active member of the XYZ Club. 

She was a loving wife, mother and a great homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Porter Montgomery, and her son, Lee Montgomery, and her two sisters, Norris and Lois.

She is survived by her caretakers, Robert and Sally Hogge of Gloucester, and nephews in Georgia.

There will be a graveside service on Friday, Feb. 27, 2015, at 11 a.m. in Bellamy United Methodist Church Cemetery by the Rev. Kenneth Waclo.

Memorial donations may be made to Bellamy United Methodist Church.
