William James “Jimmy” Soles, 69, of Mathews, Virginia, passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at Williamsburg Hospice House. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany. He worked for many years at Coastal Design.

He was preceded by his parents, Lois and Jack Soles, and a brother, Steven Soles.

He is survived by his siblings, Angie Haynes, Susan Rowe (David), Becky Wroten; three brothers, Kevin Soles, Jeffery Soles, and J.W. Soles (Susan), and many nieces and nephews.

The family will have a private service.
