WILLIAM JACKSON GALBRAITH JR.

3-11-1937–1-22-2016

Jack served his country in the Foreign Service as a diplomat and as an officer in the Central Intelligence Agency.

He served several overseas tours and was a decorated officer.

After retiring, he moved to Mathews with his wife Harriet, and became a professional artist. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and novel writing. Jack had a great sense of humor and enjoyed making people laugh.

He was predeceased by his daughter, Elizabeth Anne. He is survived by his wife, Harriet; son, Lt. Col. William J. Galbraith III (ret.); daughter-in-law, Elizabeth; granddaughters, Jaclyn and Julia.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
