William Henry “K4ASI” Eacho Jr., 86, of Gloucester, away on Saturday, Feb. 10, 2018, at Riverside Walter Reed Hospital.

He was born in Newport News, Virginia, and was the son of the late William H. and Helen Seward Eacho Sr.

He was retired from JJ McMullen Assoc. where he was a naval electrical designer and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was very active as an Amateur Radio Operator being on the net twice a day.

He is survived by his wife, Alma R. Eacho; his sons, William David Eacho (Joyce), Stephen C. Eacho (Charlene), Donald Randolph Eacho, and Matthew Wade Eacho (Cindy); six grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, Feb. 15, 2018, at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
