A funeral for William Edward “Capt. Ed” Deagle, 92, of Deltaville, will be held at 2 p.m. today in Zoar Baptist Church, Deltaville.

Capt. Deagle, an Army veteran of World War II, died Monday, May 15, 2017. He was a boatbuilder and operator of Deagle’s Marina in Deltaville.

Survivors include his wife, Katherine Caudle Deagle, a daughter, Rebecca Deagle Lengua of Urbanna, two grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and four nephews.

The family will receive friends at the church at 1 p.m.; interment will follow the service.
