WILLIAM E. “BUBBA” BONNIVILLE

William E. “Bubba” Bonniville, 75, of Gloucester, Virginia passed away peacefully on Jan. 1, 2017 at his home with his wife Terri at his side.

He fought a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer’s disease. 

Bubba was an avid gardener; he especially loved his collard patch. He also loved football, baseball and fishing. He was a retired waterman, working the waters for 55 years. Bubba was the pitcher for the Wildcats baseball team back in the day.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph W. and Peachie Lee Belvin Bonniville; sister, Catherine Hall, and niece, Linda Millwood Wheeler.

He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Terri Williams Bonniville; three daughters, Kelly Bonniville (husband Scott Satterfield), Valerie Bell (Tommy), Robin O’Connor (Neil); son, Steven Bonniville; sister, Shirley Carmine (Weldon); brother, Thomas Bonniville (Carrie Lee); four grandsons; one great-grandson; several nieces and nephews; his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Debbie and Tommy Hoggard, Tina and Mike Nelson and Lisa and Sherwood Daniels.

Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Bill West at 12 noon Wednesday, Jan. 4 in Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point. The family greeted friends from 11 a.m.-noon. Interment followed at Rosewell Memorial Garden Cemetery.
