William “Bill” N. Sterling, 50, of Hayes, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, Dec. 28, 2017.

Bill was a lover of the water and fishing, a great father, son and friend. He will live on in the many wonderful memories he created with his family and friends.

Bill is survived by his parents, Elmo and Jean Sterling; children, Will Sterling and his fiancée, Heather, Kristen Sterling and her fiancé, Tyler, and Jacob Sterling; grandchildren, Alexis, Noah, Trevor, Ian, Rylan, Waverly and Everly; sister, Jennifer Owens and husband Stevie; nephews, Stephen and Sterling Owens, extended family, and many friends.

A Celebration of Life service conducted by the Rev. Bill West and Minister Robbie Brunjes will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 4, 2018, at Severn Church. Inurnment will follow in the church cemetery.
