William “Bill” C. Harris, 75, of Houma, La., formerly of Onemo, Va., died Oct. 10, 2025.
He was born to James and Dorothy Harris in Old Town, Maine. He grew up in Mattapoisett, Mass., and graduated from Northeastern University as an electrical engineer. He moved to the Tidewater area of Virginia in 1972, and had a long career at JJMA (now Alion Science) until his retirement in 2020. He was a founding member of Ascension of Our Lord Byzantine Catholic Church in Williamsburg, and a member of the Court House Players.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Monica McCarthy Harris; four children, Christopher, Julianne, Laurel Anne and Gregory; his brother, Mark; sister, Jane, and seven grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held in Glen Allen at a later date.

Ordoyne Funeral Home in Thibodaux, La., is in charge of arrangements.
