Willard Rosewell Rilee Jr., 81, of Gloucester, passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2011.

He was born in Akron, Ohio, to the late Willard Rosewell and Louise Thomas Rilee Sr., and was the widower of Eleanor Jane Deal Rilee. He served in the U.S. Navy and was retired from the Gloucester Post Office. He was a long-time member of First Presbyterian Church.

He is survived by his children, Gale Rilee Meagher of Mathews, and Gary Rosewell Rilee of Mathews; his grandsons, Willard Thomas Ober, Charles Allan Ober, and Maris Vernon Kerns IV.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, April 23, 2011, at 11 a.m. in First Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Dr. Douglas Nagel. The family received friends at the funeral home on Friday from 6-7:30 p.m.
