Wildon Vincent Sibley, 87, of Gloucester, passed away on Friday, Nov. 24, 2017.

He was born in Gloucester, and was a member of Petsworth Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the Korean War having served in the U.S. Army. He retired from the Naval Weapons Station and following his retirement he had a dump truck business and also a seafood business.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Howlett Sibley, and daughter, Karen S. Frasmer, and is survived by his daughter, Deborah S. Green (Carey); granddaughter, Cindy Johnson (Scott) and Wendy Frasmer; son-in-law, Marven Frasmer; great- grandchildren, Brittany McCrea, Joseph McCrea, Katie Kelsing, and Matthew Forrest.

The family received friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2017, from 6:30-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 30, 2017, at Petsworth Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
