Martha Wiggs of Hayes, was the overall gross winner and Karen Gorin of Deltaville was the overall net winner in the 2022 Piankatank River Ladies Golf Association Championship, which was held on Oct. 6 at the Hartfield course.

Wiggs scored an 88, while Gorin scored a 71. Other winners were:

First flight—Nina Carter and Nancy Pannell (first and second gross, 89 and 90); Mary Francisco and Carole Lloyd (first and second net, 76 and 80). Second flight—Christy Pitts and Christi Lewis (first and second gross, 92 and 97); June Klink and Roseanne Moncure (first and second net, 79 and 80). Third flight—Chong Hudgins and Donna Lange (first and second gross, 99 and 109); Lynne Richardson and Mary Dorman (first and second net, 79 and 81).
