Jennifer Wiatt recently joined the staff at Bridgewaters Salon & Spa, located at The Shops on Hickory Fork, White Marsh. Wiatt is a stylist with 15 years’ experience. She offers custom color and cuts for women, as well as men and children.

A graduate of Gloucester High School and its cosmetology program, Wiatt worked one year at the Supercuts shop in Gloucester. Then, she worked 10 years at several salons in Richmond and most recently worked at a spa in Williamsburg.

“Communication is important,” Wiatt said of a client telling the stylist what specific service they want performed. For example, a trim might register one way with the client and another with the stylist if they don’t talk about it. Wiatt said there are times when the client might not like a dye job, for example, and she might redo it to the client’s satisfaction.

Originally from Gloucester, Wiatt resides in Gloucester with her daughter, Addison, 3.
