White Marsh Baptist to hold music festival

White Marsh Baptist Church will host a “Come as You Are” music festival next Saturday, Oct. 13, at the church, which is located across from the Wawa convenience store in Gloucester.

The free outdoor community event, to be held rain or shine, will include renowned Christian artists Alisa Turner and Jason Gray. It will also feature more local talent including Zion’s Triumph, Joel Emerson, Picassomusik and Potter’s Vessels of Praise, a dance group. 

Doors will open at 11:30 a.m.; activities will run from noon until 6 p.m. Visitors are encouraged to bring chairs or blankets. Food vendors will also be available.

Terri Martin, organizer for the event, said offsite parking will be available at the White Marsh Shopping Center and at Susanna Wesley United Methodist Church. Shuttle service to the venue will be provided.
