The Guinea Heritage Association celebrated the winners of the 2021 Achilles Elementary Art Contest, “What the Guinea Jubilee Means to Me.” Barbara Priest, contest coordinator, gave each student a certificate with their original drawing, a Guinea Jubilee T-shirt, and a goodie bag that brought back memories of when children would come to Buck’s Store to get penny candy.
