The Mathews County Wetlands Board will have a special meeting at 7 p.m. Friday in the historic courthouse on Court Street to discuss whether to reopen public comment on the Mathews County Land Conservancy’s Williams Wharf project.

Wetlands administrator Chris Ingram said the board voted to reopen public comment during the April meeting, but the land conservancy has objected to the action. Friday’s meeting may or may not have an impact on the decision, she said.

Interested parties are invited to attend, but no public comment will be taken at this meeting. For more information, call 725-4034.
