Wetlands board to hold hearings on two applications

The Gloucester County Wetlands Board will hold public hearings on two shoreline improvement applications during a meeting beginning at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 8, in the colonial courthouse.

Dockside Condominium Owners Association, Inc., has applied to install a drainfield to disperse water from the rear of the building and replace a previously installed rip rap revetment in order to stabilize the sloped shoreline at the rear of a six-unit condominium building. The property is located at 7809-7819 Sunset Drive adjacent to property situated along Sarah Creek.

Linda Walthall, permit technician in the Environmental Division of the Gloucester Codes Compliance Office, said that David and Susan Wiker have filed an application seeking authorization to install an 85-linear-foot stone sill, 12 feet wide.
