Wetlands board to consider three applications

The Mathews County Wetlands Board will consider three applications for permits to impact wetlands during its meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the historic courthouse on Court Street.

John Miller of 65 Oakhaven Lane has applied for a permit to install 47 feet of riprap revetment against a deteriorating timber bulkhead as well as 20 feet of marsh sill along the Milford Haven shoreline.

Nancy Quinn of 993 Holly Point Road has requested a permit to install 115 feet of vinyl bulkhead channelward of a deteriorating timber bulkhead along the Morris Creek shoreline.

James Pine of 76 Auer Lane is seeking permission to construct a 65-foot bulkhead along the shoreline of an unnamed tributary to Queens Creek. ...
