Wetlands board to consider four applications

The Mathews County Wetlands Board will consider four applications for construction that will impact wetlands, during a meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, in the historic courtroom.

Michael Francisco of Grimstead, has requested a permit to dredge a 20’ x 22’ are to minus three feet below mean low water along the Forest Creek/Milford Haven shoreline.

Teresa Raynes of Elkton, is seeking a permit to remove a timber wall and replace it with 90 feet of riprap revetment and 67 cubic yards of sand fill along the North River at 29 Bayshore Avenue.

William T. Terry Jr. of Mechanicsville, wants to install 75 feet of riprap and 319 linear feet of marsh sill and associated fill along Lanes Creek at 459 Hicks Road, and Bob Tabor of Richmond, has requested permission to install two marsh toes totaling 149 linear feet, two marsh sills totaling 275 linear feet, and 100 cubic yards of sand fill along Whites Creek at 377 Old House Woods Road.
