West Point to host National Night Out

The West Point Police Department and the Town of West Point will hold a National Night Out event from 5-9 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 1, at Town Point Park.

National Night Out is a community-building campaign designed to promote police-community partnerships. Throughout the U.S., neighborhoods host block parties, festivals, parades, cookouts and various other community events with safety demonstrations, seminars, youth events, visits from emergency personnel, exhibits and much more.

West Point Police have been working on a lineup of vendors and entertainment in an event that promises to be fun for all ages, the Town of West Point stated in a Facebook post.
