A routine inspection of the Lord Delaware Bridge over the Mattaponi River at West Point was scheduled to begin Monday, and to last two weeks, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.

Alternating lane closures of Route 33 will be necessary between 9 a.m.-4 p.m. on weekdays while the inspection is underway, VDOT said.
