Registration is underway for the Lower Middle Peninsula Well Water Clinic.
All registration will be done online at https://tinyurl.com/VCE-VAHWQP-LMP. All payments will be made online via credit card; however, if you do not have a credit card or are unable to use your credit card, please let us know and we can figure out alternate registration/payment methods. Registration closes on July 3.
The cost is $65, but limited scholarship funds are available for those unable to afford the testing fee. The dates, times, and locations for the available kickoff meetings (where you receive the testing kits, instructions, and some basic education on well water maintenance) will be:
—July 10, noon-1 p.m., T.C. Walker Education Center cafeteria, 6099 T.C. Walker Road, Gloucester; 6-7 p.m., Cook’s Corner Office Complex, 2893 General Puller Highway, Saluda.
—July 11, 10-11 a.m., Mathews Extension office: 10494 Buckley Hall Road, Suite B, Mathews; 6-7 p.m., T.C. Walker cafeteria.
The sample drop-off day will be the morning of July 12 with these three available locations/times:
—7-9 a.m. T.C. Walker cafeteria; 8-9:30 a.m., Mathews Extension office; 8-10 a.m., Middlesex Extension office, 125 Bowden Street, Saluda.
The interpretation meeting, where you will receive your confidential results back (which can also be mailed to you or picked up at an Extension office at another time if you’re unable to make one of the meetings below) will be:
—Aug. 28, noon-1 p.m., T.C. Walker cafeteria; 6-7 p.m., Cook’s Corner Office Complex, Saluda.
—Aug. 29, 10-11 a.m., Mathews Extension office; 6-7 p.m., T.C. Walker cafeteria.
