Pets still appreciate extra treats or toys while they wait to be adopted. Gifts for the shelter pets can be left at the front doors of the GMHS building (6620 Jackson Lane, just south of Gloucester Court House) or sent using its Amazon Wish List at https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/2UOPB98KSWKZO/ref=hz_ls_biz_ex.Items that the shelter is most in need of include:

—Canned dog and cat food (any brand);

—Non-clumping cat litter;

—Dry Purina Kitten Chow;

—Dry cat and dog food (IAMS, Purina One, ProPlan, or Hills), and

—Grain-free dog and cat treats.
