The eighth annual Ware Academy Lacrosse Invitational will begin at the school at 11 a.m. Saturday. Boys’ and girls’ teams from Steward School, Walsingham Academy and Ware are expected to compete.

The girls’ teams will use the tourney as a “Cradle for a Cure” event to raise awareness of and money for breast cancer research. Concessions will be available with proceeds going to the Ware Academy Parents Association. The tournament is open to the public. ...
